The company presented Marie Curie, which provides care and support to people with terminal illnesses and their families, with the £1,000 cheque at its Prologis Park headquarters. GEFCO UK joined with Marks and Spencer to buy the 500 daffodil pots for its staff, as part of its dedicated programme to engage employees and support deserving causes. Helen Grover, Human Resources Director, GEFCO UK, comments: “We wanted to do something different to celebrate Easter this year and reward our staff for the hard work they contribute every day. We’ve seen a terrific response to the daffodil pots, and we’re always looking for opportunities to engage our employees, support deserving charities and make GEFCO a great place to work. This month, a great team effort also saw us collect over 100 Easter Eggs which were shared with Coventry University Hospital Children’s Ward – a brilliant local cause.”
